STATUS – A new species for the county, with 2 specimens netted during the day over Bilberry at Long Clough near Glossop on 1st July 2023. Another one was attracted to light at the same site on 2nd July 2023. The species has most probably been under recorded, due to the precise habitat requirements.
 
ID POINTERS – Has full deep rather rounded wings and arched leading forewing edge. A delicate pale lime green, when fresh. A black central spot with two faint cross-bands towards the wing base and after the spot. With another wavy cross-band at two-thirds. Several black dashes along the costa. The green fades to a light brown.
 
FLIGHT PERIOD –  On the wing June-July. Easily flushed from the larval food plant – Bilberry.
