I found myself making another visit to RSPB Frampton, with Barrie, on Saturday 13th May 2017. A pair of Black-winged Stilts had arrived on the reserve on Friday 12th and so we took a chance in hoping they would stay overnight. Unfortunately they had moved on and were not present on the Saturday morning, however we did manage to see a Wood Sandpiper, 2 Little Stint (in summer plumage) and a Greenshank, along with the usual species of wader, Dunlin, Black-tailed Godwit, Avocet, Ringed & Little Ringed Plover, Redshank, Ruff, Curlew, Lapwing and Oystercatcher, that were on the reserve. Also a Turtle Dove was purring and showing well. The year list moves on to 199
