Moth Trap – 11/12th August

I ran my garden moth trap, first one for some time, overnight on 11th August. Pleasantly surprised with 116 moths of 37 species. No surprises, but a few nice ones, amongst the commoner moths for the time of year. 

Gold Spot
Poplar Hawk-moth
Swallow Prominent
Dusky Thorn
Canary-shouldered Thorn
Acrobasis advenella – Grey Knot-horn
Cydia pomonella
