The 6th Moth Trap of the year and another reasonable garden trap but numbers of species down for some reason. Nothing spectacular yet but surprise with this catch was 6 Elephant Hawkmoths. A total of 29 species in no particular order:-

Elephant Hawkmoth 6; Flame 3; Marbled Minor 8; Peppered Moth 1; Dark Arches 7; Scalloped Hazel 1; Heart and Dart 8; Large Yellow Underwing 1; Riband Wave 2 (1 aversata form); Willow Beauty 5; Mottled Beauty 1; Small Dusty Wave 1; Hebrew Character 1; Foxglove Pug 1; Rustic 1; Garden Carpet 1; Slender Pug 1; Aphomia sociella (Bee Moth) 2; Eudonia mercerlla 2; Crambus pascuella 2; Chrysoteuchia culmella 2; Endrosis sarcitrella (White-shouldered House-moth) 1; Bryotropha affinis 2; Ditula angustiorana (Red-barred Tortrix) 1; Acentria ephemerella (Water Veneer) 1; Ancylis achatana 1; Hofmannophila pseudospretella (Brown House-moth) 1; Epiphyas postvittana (Light-brown Apple Moth) 1; Hypsopygia costalis (Gold Triangle) 1:
