Ghost Moth – Hepialidae – Hepialus humuli – colour code • STATUS – A resident species that is widely distributed in Derbyshire and common where it occurs. ID POINTERS –  The moth is easy to identify – the male has silky white forewings and hind-wings and the female has unmistakeable yellow forewings with orange markings.
