Sunday 30th June, Richard, Glyn and myself spent the day at the RSPB Reserve at Bempton Cliffs on the Yorkshire Coast just north of Bridlington. It is one of the best sea-bird colonies in England with around 200,000 birds using the cliffs during the breeding season. The sights, sounds and smells are an incredible introduction to the spectacle of a sea-bird colony. Gannet, Kittiwake, Fulmar, Puffin, Razorbill, Guillemot and Herring Gull were all on view and a single Peregrine put in a brief appearance. Year List moves on to 183
