Early morning at the DWT reserve at Willington Gravel Pits produced just 8 Black-tailed Godwit of note. They very quickly departed after about an hours stay, heading off west. A week relaxing in Cornwall to re-charge the batteries. Some birding, some butterflies and some plants. The RSPB Reserve at Frampton Marshes in Lincolnshire is a great place to observe migrating waders. To-day was not exception with 18 species being seen in just a few hours. A morning birding on Cannock Chase, Staffordshire for spring migrants.
