During July I spent a week on Shetland, photographing some of the rare and special wildlife these islands are famous for. My week was arranged by my good friend Brydon Thomason, owner of Shetland Nature
Along with one of Shetland Nature’s pro wildlife photographers, Josh Jaggard , we based ourselves on the island of Unst for the week. The week’s photography, along with comfortable accommodation and excellent food, was planned and organised extremely well and the weather helped us to achieve all our objectives and more besides. Shetland is one of my all time favourite places, and this was my very first visit in mid-summer.
Needless to say, plenty of photographs were taken, and the following are some of my favourites. Many thanks to Brydon and Josh for making my trip so enjoyable, and so successful.
